Exhibition Description

Art@Government Buildings is a public art project in Hong Kong to bring works of art into Government offices. In addition to promoting the local development of public art, the project aims to create an expressive atmosphere at Government buildings, offer visitors and users a new experience and broaden the artistic horizons of the public at large. The two previous presentations of the project, in 2010-11 and 2012-13, have seen works of art put on display at nine Government buildings in Hong Kong at various times from June 2011 to November 2013, and they have attracted positive response from the general public.

To continue the momentum generated by the project, "Art@Government Buildings 2013-14" has now been launched to integrate new works of public art at four more Government buildings on Hong Kong Island, in Kowloon and the New Territories. The commissioned works of art are on display at the Government buildings since March 2014.
