Programme Description

Arts touch our souls from outside to inside, from physical encounters to psychological touches.

In the era dominated by the visual, it is rare that we explore senses other than visual inherent. 'The Third Touch Art Festival Exhibition' unveils human sensations and experience through the means of arts. Artworks of different forms and shapes that rich in texture are generously showcased. They include three-dimensional approach of artworks that are originally two-dimensional; artworks co-created by artists and visually impaired individuals; interactive installations; touch dance performance and artworks created by the community during touch art workshops.

In the exhibition, visually impaired individuals are ready to describe some of the exhibits and to feel and experience the works with audience. With their first-hand descriptions, audience is encouraged to appreciate works of art from a brand new angle.

To incorporate with the exhibition, touch art workshops and public guided tours are offered on selected weekends. respectively.
