To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, also the 55th anniversary of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, an outdoor art project, “City Dress Up: Blossoming Stairs” is launched this Spring, decorating staircases in various districts with motifs of flowers sourced from the Museum’s collection. Our selection spans a great variety of works, including traditional Chinese paintings; historical pictures from the 19th century; contemporary art pieces; antiquities covering textiles; lacquer ware and bamboo carvings. With exhibition of the dress-up staircases, and educational activities held in different districts, you are welcome to experience and enjoy the pleasure of art and nature on the blossoming stairs with us.
Audio description (selected artworks) and tangible re-production (selected artworks) were provided at the diversity tour.
