Programme Description
Music opens a world where sharing brings pleasance to a lonely soul. It is a platform for all to immerse in the tunes. No wonder forming a band remains so appealing to people from all ages, and that songs from different eras continue to play a leading role in setting social trends and atmosphere.
So let’s get back to the Rock 'n' Roll era in Lions Rock You. Relive the days of blues rhythm and accentuated beat brought by the stunning performances of SKM Lutheran Centre for the Blind Happy Lutheran Band and Alice Lau. Open your heart and swing back to Rock 'n' Roll.
The evening will also welcome Rudely Interrupted, a renowned band from Australia, whose first appearance in Hong Kong will be marked by a number of new and original songs. Sharing the stage is the Sign Language Song Group from The Hong Kong Society for the Deaf, who will "sing" the Festival’s theme song with the audience as an ending note to a rich night of sharing and inclusiveness.
